viii, [4], 124pp. Rebound in full morocco by the Cottage Bindery of Bath, raised bands, spine in six panels, title in gilt to second panel, author and illustrator to third, remaining panels with central volute device and volute corner pieces, covers with gilt double fillet border with gilt dots to intersections at corners, upper cover with gilt vignette of a child, fairies and animals (replicated from title), t.e.g., original decorative endpapers.
Very slightly rubbed to lower cover. Internally some very light sporadic foxing, but generally quite bright and clean, one or two tissue guards creased, all illustrations bright and clean.
Complete with fifty tipped-in plates by Rackham. Housed in a cloth slipcase.
Riall, page 114, a reprint of the 1906 edition but with a new colour frontispiece and an additional seven full-page drawings
