Original cloth, title in gilt to spines, gilt vignettes to covers, t.e.g. Slightly rubbed to extremities, spines very slightly faded. Internally 'Now We Are Six' has some soiling to margins, but generally quite bright and clean. Now housed in a velvet lined cloth slipcase, made by Temple Bookbinders. 'When We Were Very Young' has Milne's signature tipped in to the front pastedown, 'Now We Are Six' also has Milne's signature tipped in to the front pastedown, and is signed by Shepard to the title page
