Three volumes complete, 1808-1810 - Volume One - [7], ii-iv, [1], 4-231pp, [3]; Volume Two - [7], iv-vi, [1], 2-239pp, [2]; and Volume Three - [7]-iv, [1], 2-280pp, [8]; plates. Later full red morocco, raised bands, spines in six panels, title in gilt to second panel, author / volume to third, remaining panels with double fillet borders and fleuron corner pieces, covers with triple line border, double line to edges, elaborate gilt rolls to inner edges, a.e.g. Binding is by Sangorski and Sutcliffe

Head cap of first volume slightly chipped and repaired, slightly rubbed to extremities, a couple of minor scrapes. Internally the text of the first volume is lightly browned with a couple of small chips and tiny stains to the first few leaves (probably from a paper clip), some offsetting as often, the second and third volumes are generally quite bright and clean, new tissue guards 

With a total of one hundred and four colour aquatints as called for, (thirty-two plates in the first two volumes and forty in the third), and with the half-titles
