Uniform original publishers vellum, smooth spines, gilt titles to spines, gilt frame to upper cover enclosing Churchill's armorial device, a.e.g. each with a 'leatherette' covered gilt decorated slipcase. Usual toning to vellum, slipcases slightly rubbed to extremities, a few with small amounts of loss to 'leatherette', but generally quite bright and clean. Number 1267 of 3000 copies, although fewer were actually issued
