Hint of fading to spine, but otherwise bright and clean. Housed in a Cockerell paper covered card slipcase
One of three hundred and twenty-eight copies on paper, with twenty-five on vellum. "Printed in Subiaco type, with chapter-headings and shoulder-notes in red. All the coloured initials are filled in by hand in red, blue, or green by Graily Hewitt & his two assistants" (Hornby, A Descriptive Bibliography of the Books Printed at The Ashendene Press MDCCCCV-MCMXXXV, page 90). Hornby himself thought it was "one of the most satisfactory of the books of the Press" (ibid, page 92)
