Two volumes complete - Volume One - iv, 464pp and Volume Two - iv, 464pp. Recent full morocco by Temple Bookbinders, raised bands, spines in six panels, title lettered direct in gilt to second panel, volume number to third and author to fourth, with date to foot, covers with single fillet border, surrounding a double fillet frame filled with diaper pattern in blind with gilt dots, gilt roll to inner edges, all edges stained red.
Externally fine. Internally lightly browned throughout, with occasional light staining, heavier staining to S5 in volume one, a few leaves with a small amount of red staining to edges, but generally clean.
With a frontispiece to each volume and ten plates to volume one and eight to volume two (a total of twenty as called for).
